Company
Manufacturer of precision products for medium-sized businesses and industry.
Mission: Why haru?
The art of turning and machining
Turning is an art. On the one hand, it must be performed on state-of-the-art, highly precise, and expensive machines. On the other, this art requires a combination of superior craftsmanship, spatial awareness, and excellent programming skills.
Turning is almost always performed as batch production, not as flow production. Complex changeover processes must be performed for each batch, and all parameters must be reset. This increases the risk of errors, and therefore all production activities must be carried out under strict quality assurance guidelines and procedures.
Mission: Why haru?
The family business
Producing the highest quality at reasonable prices is best achieved in small, owner-managed businesses. Family members know their machines and all their processes. They can easily manage 10-15 machines in their heads. Information systems like ERP or CAQ are unnecessary and don't waste time. Overtime and weekend work are easily possible. In times of crisis, large personnel costs are eliminated.
Mission: Why haru?
The location structure
Haru has been working with such owner‒managed companies for 70 years. Historically, these production sites were located in southern Germany, the Black Forest, and the Swabian Alb. Today, Haru manufactures internationally in Central, Southern, and Eastern Europe, as well as the Far East.
Through long‒standing and genuine personal relationships, technological support, and digital networking, these companies are optimally connected to Haru.
This means:
haru conveys know-how,
develops the production processes,
operates a permanent supplier development program.
Within this network, haru delivers the best products and creates the best value for its customers:
with the right production process,
on the most suitable machine,
at a friendly and well-developed company,
in the most suitable country (i.e. with the necessary cost structure and suitable legal requirements).
This location structure frees haru from many constraints:
haru does not have to fill its own production capacities.
haru can reject all production defects in a customer-oriented manner without incurring any losses
That's why haru can deliver the highest quality at international prices!
Mission: Why haru?
Value orientation
This is how haru addresses globalization:
Globalization is underway and a historically "inevitable" process. No one can stop it. It brings progress and challenges.
Progress
Global competition

Growing prosperity for emerging markets
Challenges
Cultural differences
Communication problems
Quality problems
haru gives globalization a human face!
accepts the challenge of globalization and faces international competition,
works nationally and internationally with long-standing partners and friends with respect and fair contracts (Fair Trade),
supports its partners wherever necessary.
Continuity and stability
As a public limited company, we at the haru Group stand for continuity and long-term stability.
This forms the basis for trusting and successful collaborations with industrial customers from medium-sized businesses and corporations.
Growth Perspective
Our new building in Schönaich provides ample space for the necessary central departments in Germany, i.e., for production process development and logistics. The new building houses a large high-bay warehouse with plenty of space.
This has laid the foundation for growth for haru, enabling us to supply our customers with goods sustainably and long-term.
Environmental awareness
haru has set itself the goal of winning over the competition through quality and reliability – but not at the expense of the environment and future generations.
Therefore, haru generates its own electricity through a large solar panel system on the roof of the new building. The company operates according to an environmental manual, which ensures compliance with current environmental standards and embeds energy conservation and resource conservation within the company. It also covers topics such as waste management and recycling, ensuring that sustainability and environmentally conscious practices are firmly embedded in everyday life at haru.
